Breathe better.
Feel better.

Air Physiotherapy Cornwall is a respiratory physiotherapy service run by specialist physiotherapist,
Emily Lockwood

What is respiratory physiotherapy?

Respiratory physiotherapy is a type of physiotherapy for the breathing system.

Respiratory physiotherapists treat, educate, and advise people who have problems with their heart, lungs, and/or their breathing, with the ultimate aim of helping them be as active and independent as they want to be.

Are you looking for someone to help you breathe better and help you be more active so you can enjoy life?

About Emily

Hello, my name is Emily Lockwood and I'm a specialist respiratory physiotherapist.

My focus is on helping people with breathing issues by optimising the way they breathe. This firstly involves looking at whether there are any underlying reasons that may make you breathe differently, for example a recent chest infection, an underlying lung or heart condition, stress or anxiety. Irrespective of the cause or trigger, I will work with you to remove, or manage your symptoms. We will work together to improve the way you breathe, and I will provide you with the tools to be able to maintain your heart and lung health for the longer-term, and support you along your journey to be more active.

My 3-step process helps guide you towards better breathing and optimal long-term health.
